Hi, my name is Alex and I started Sunset Climber in 2020 as a side project and have been slowly growing it with help of my family ever since. Being an lgbtq climber myself, the focus has always been on supporting fellow queer climbers and improving visibility in gyms.

It is important to note however that Sunset Climber is a side project for us, which impacts the frequency of restocks. Ultimately we’re doing this out of love towards our fellow climbers, so please be patient if an item you want is unavailable for the time being.

Update: During June 2024 all proceeds will go to Yaaj Mexico, a non-profit, non-partisan and secular organisation whose goals are  defending, promoting and protecting the Human Rights of the LGBTQ+ population in Mexico.

All proceeds from the sales go towards our climbing wall in BCS, Mexico, where the nearest gym used to be a two hour drive away. Funds raised help pay for wood panels, screws, holds, paint, etc. and keep the project accessible to local climbers and newbies interested in trying out this beautiful sport.
